KimaCell® HEMC MH60M Cellulose ether is widely used in dry mixed mortar. Dry-mixed mortar, also known as pre-mixed (dry) mortar, dry powder material, dry mix, dry powder mortar, dry-mixed mortar, is a semi-finished mixed mortar that does not contain mixing water. Cellulose ether has excellent properties such as thickening, emulsification, suspension, film formation, protective colloid, moisture retention, and adhesion. It is an important admixture in dry-mixed mortar, but its price is very expensive. HEMC can significantly improve the water retention of mortar. A lower dosage of HEMC can significantly reduce the degree of mortar stratification and significantly increase the water retention rate of mortar. When the dosage is 0.1%, the water retention rate increases from 83% to 91%. When the water retention rate is 0.4%, the water retention rate reaches 98%.
