1 . Raw Materials

The main raw materials of cellulose ether are refined cotton, wood pulp or other renewable materials, and chemical products such as methyl chloride, propylene oxide, and caustic soda. The raw material of refined cotton is cotton linters. China is rich in cotton, especially in the main cotton production areas such as Shandong, Hebei, and Jiangsu. The production of cellulose ether has strict requirements on raw materials, especially refined cotton. Kima Purchasing Department has a special raw material supplier audit system to ensure the stability and reliability of incoming raw materials.

2. Reaction Process (Alkalization & Etherification)

In the production process of cellulose ether, starting from the pulverization of refined cotton, the bulk density of refined cotton after pulverization is strictly controlled. We adopt a standardized process to control various indicators of the production products, design different process conditions according to product technical requirements, and realize DCS automatic control. For each batch of production, the feeding amount is accurately measured, the solvent ratio is strictly controlled, and the reaction process is controlled by a computer to reduce human errors.

The Factory has invested $2 million to introduce the MVR wastewater treatment process, Kima factory are in line with all the mandatory government permissions or certificates.
